How early detection of NCDs via health tech can impact the workplace

Catch Unu Head of Global Distribution & New Business Development Neil Kinsley in conversation with Lotus FM host Krsna Priya Dasa on how health tech can drive early detection of NCDs and positively impact the workplace.

“Millions of South Africans suffer from non-communicable diseases like diabetes and hypertension, and up to 50% of them don't even know that they have this. So, we’ve integrated face scan technology into the platform that will give people access to their health numbers for things like hypertension, blood pressure and blood sugar. This means less time in long queues outside public community clinics and less time off work. We believe that with the kind of health technology that is out there, there is a better way of doing things.”
